Every great mission begins with a purpose, and MATHRUSRI MAHILA MANDALI was born out of a deep desire to uplift the lives of the poor, widows, and marginalized communities. Our journey started with a simple yet powerful belief: every person, regardless of their background, deserves access to basic necessities, dignity, and the opportunity to thrive.
???? The Beginning: A Vision for Change
In many villages and towns across West Godavari, we witnessed the struggles of widows, elderly individuals, and children who lacked access to healthcare, education, and even clean drinking water. Many widows were left abandoned, struggling to survive without financial support. Children dropped out of school because their families couldn’t afford their education. Rural communities suffered due to a lack of clean water and proper medical care.
Seeing this suffering firsthand, we knew that action was needed. With a small group of dedicated individuals, we started MATHRUSRI MAHILA MANDALI to provide medical aid, educational support, women empowerment, and water welfare initiatives to those in need.

Today, MATHRUSRI MAHILA MANDALI stands as a pillar of hope in the community, ensuring that:

✅ No family suffers due to lack of medical aid.
✅ No village struggles due to water scarcity.
Our work continues to grow, thanks to the unwavering support of our donors, volunteers, and community members. But our mission is far from over—there are still many lives to touch, many challenges to overcome, and many dreams to fulfill.
???? Overcoming Challenges & Expanding Our Reach
Our journey was not without difficulties. In the beginning, we faced financial limitations and had to work hard to gain the trust of the communities we wanted to help. We started small, organizing free medical camps for the elderly, providing school supplies to underprivileged children, and setting up vocational training for widows to help them become self-sufficient.
Slowly, as more supporters, volunteers, and donors joined us, we expanded our initiatives:
✔ Bore Well Projects were launched to provide clean drinking water to rural areas.
✔ Scholarship programs ensured that poor children could continue their education.
✔ Self-employment training empowered widows and women to earn a livelihood.
Over the years, our efforts have touched thousands of lives, bringing hope and opportunity where there was once despair.
